Associate Pastor Chris Moss opened the evening service with a reading from Genesis 22:10-14, then introduced guest worship leader, Jamin Eben. Eben led the gathered in two songs

- The Wonderful Cross
Eben is originally from South Dakota, growing up about 15 minutes from Mt. Rushmore. He graduated from Blackhill State with a degree in music performance. Eben worked as a D. J. on a radio station and eventually moved into station management before he decided to enroll at Southern Baptist Theological Seminary to pursue an M.Div degree. He has lived in Louisville for about a year and said it already feels like home. He is a worship minister at a church in Indiana.
