November 13, 2016 Morning Worship

Members, regulars and visitors were all greeted with the warm hospitality that Vine Street Baptist is known for.  The church body is also known for loving Jesus through worship.

The service began with Deacon Betty Jeffries reading Isaiah 9:2-7 and saying a prayer.  Worship leaders Jacob and Jaime Hather led the gathered in singing I Saw the Light.  After a time of fellowship, Senior Pastor introduced former members Cory and Jenni Duncan and invited them to the platform to let everyone know about what they do with Hungry for Life.  A video was presented as part of their time, which can be seen by visiting this link.

After the ministry update, announcement and a pastoral prayer, the congregation continued worshiping in song before Justin Francis read today’s sermon scripture.

After the sermon, everyone stood and sang Be Thou My Vision, then Spencer read a benediction to close the service.
