Concord Baptist Mission Week
Vine Street Baptist Church is happy to welcome Concord Baptist Church’s Student Ministry Team as they come to Louisville for their Summer Mission Outreach. Â These youth and adult sponsors will spend a week with us in various projects around our building and throughout the community. Please be in prayer for Concord Student Ministry, for their travels and for the time they will be ministering to those they come in contact with.
Here’s a brief overview of their schedule:
- Sunday — Welcome Pot Luck Dinner
- Everyone is welcome to bring a dish and meet the Mission Team. Â Fellowship Hall – 6:00pm
- Monday – Neighbor Day
- Mission Team will serve our neighbors by doing various projects around their homes.
- Tuesday – Vine Street Day
- Mission Team will spread out all over our building to do some painting, cleaning and other projects.
- Wednesday – Sister Church Day
- Mission Team will be severing Garfield Avenue Baptist Church and Christ Community Church with some projects
- Thursday – Louisville Rescue Mission
- Mission Team will serve LRM by cleaning the homeless shelter and grounds, helping at the community store, and serving an evening meal to residents of their program.
- Friday – Â Neighborhood Event
- After a morning of seeing some sites around Louisville, the Mission Team and Vine Street Baptist will host a movie night in the back yard complete with games and music before the movie. Â Popcorn and drinks will be served during the show.
