June 26, 2016 Morning Worship

Hearts are much in prayer as Vine Street found several members having health issues that kept them away from worship today.  Members and guests that were able to gather together to enjoy one another, prayer for the health of others, and to learn from the Bible.

Today’s service opened with Deacon Donnie Aebersold reading Psalm 11 and saying a prayer. Worship Leader Jacob Hatcher, who recently welcomed a new baby boy, led the gathered in song:

  • In the Sweet By and By
  • Nothing But the Blood

After a welcome and time of fellowship, Associate Pastor Brandon Saunders gave several announcements.

Hatcher read Philippians 1:18-26 and led the congregation in more singing:

  • Hallelujah, What a Savior
  • It is Well

Deacon Joe Gross said a prayer before the offering was collected, then Hatcher played an instrumental piece before the sermon was delivered.
